Policyholders capture claim photos in Chainmail. Each JPEG carries a fingerprint on Solana (devnet today), so adjusters can see in the browser whether it changed after it was stamped.

The problem

Claim photos are easy to inflate.

Image tools can add damage, move a date or reuse a photo from another claim. Adjusters review the media they are sent, after the fact.

Why current fixes fall short

Guesses, stripped data, and trust.

01

Forensics come late

Image checks run after upload, when the original is gone.

02

Detectors guess

AI detection gives a score, not an answer.

03

Portals re-encode

Upload pipelines strip the data that could prove origin.

The solution

Stamp on the phone. Check at review.

The stamp is sealed in on the policyholder's phone, before upload. At review, the open verifier re-derives the result from the file. The stamp shows edits made after stamping. It cannot show edits made before a photo was imported, or tell an AI image from a camera photo.

Edits show

Any change after stamping fails the check.

Private claim chats

Policyholder messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Checked locally

The adjuster check runs in the browser. Files do not upload.

Audit trail

Each stamp has a time on Solana (devnet today).

Security and privacy

Every result states its limits.

What a stamp proves
  • The JPEG has not changed since it was stamped.
  • The fingerprint matches a record on Solana, with its time. Devnet today; mainnet is in development.
  • Anyone can repeat the check with open-source code.
What it does not prove
  • That the photo was taken in Chainmail. Imported photos can be stamped too.
  • Who took the photo, or who sent it.
  • That a camera made it rather than an AI model.
  • That the scene was honest when the photo was taken.
